Terms of Use

Sewing: Learn to Sew is licensed to you under Apple’s Standard Licensed Application End User License Agreement. These terms add what is specific to this app.

Subscriptions

• Some lessons, projects and the full sewing coach allowance need a Premium subscription. The plans, their prices and any free trial are shown on the subscription screen before you buy.
• Payment is charged to your Apple ID when you confirm the purchase, or, if the plan has a free trial, when the trial ends.
• A subscription renews automatically at the same price for the same period unless you turn off auto-renew at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Your account is charged for the renewal within the 24 hours before it.
• You can manage or cancel a subscription at any time in Settings → your name → Subscriptions. Cancelling stops the next renewal; you keep Premium until the end of the period you paid for.
• If you cancel during a free trial, you are not charged.
• Refunds are handled by Apple at reportaproblem.apple.com.

Video lessons

Many lessons are videos made by independent creators and published on YouTube. They play through YouTube’s embedded player, belong to their creators and are subject to YouTube’s terms. We choose and order them; we do not own them.

The sewing coach

The coach is an AI. It can be wrong. Treat its answers as suggestions, check anything important, and follow the instructions that came with your machine, iron and tools. Do not send it photos of people, or anything you would not want processed by Google under the terms in our privacy policy. Using the coach is subject to a fair-use allowance shown in the app.

Safety

Sewing involves needles, pins, blades, irons and machines with moving parts. Take care, keep them away from children, and stop if something feels unsafe.
